Takraw League (STL) 2025 will open it on May 28, 2025, with a new format that attracts local sports fans. The launch ceremony was held on May 20, 2025.

The launch ceremony of STL 2025 was launched by YB Hannah Yeoh (Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia) at the Times Square Times, Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.

This year, this event will bring more actions, intense competitions, and pleasant moments.

The following is a match schedule, group list, and ways to watch league live broadcasts.

Introduction to the Soccer League Takraw

The Takraw Football League (STL) is a Takraw Professional League that is recommended in Malaysia.

This league was founded on November 7, 2014 with the aim of developing local takraw talent and promoting sports to a higher level.

STL 2025 introduced a new qualifying system that divided the team into first and second grade after the group stage.

Only the first class team meets the requirements for the title, while the second class will compete for the fifth to the eighth. This format is expected to increase the intensity and vibrate matches for fans.

This season (2025), there are six grand prix series in six different locations, including the addition of the Grand Prix in Nine Nine, making the whole more interesting and competitive.

Celcomdigi was announced as the main sponsor of STL 2025, replacing the previous sponsor.

STL Latest 2025 Schedule of Games GP 3 KL (09-13 July 2025)

STL 2025 displays three main categories: STL Division 1, STL Premier, and STL Champions Cup.

STL will begin with DIV 1 competition from May 28, 2025 to June 1, 2025 in the Stadium, Kuantan, Pahang to find 2 champions and runners to compete in Premier 2025.

The main competition will begin in GP1 from June 17, 2025 at Gong Rhinoceros Stadium, Kuala Terengganu, N9 Arena, Value, Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang.

The STL Champion Cup will also be contested on 27-31 August 2025 in Johor.
