Synopsis

Drama like us (2025) tells about the emotional journey of a single mother, Alani (Emma Maembong), who tries to build a new life with her son, Iqi (Mikael Noah) after being left by her ex, Farouq (Shahz Jaszle).

After five years, Farouq suddenly appeared to claim his rights as a father, once again knocked on old wounds and disturbing Alani’s peace.

In anger, Alani met Kerol (Mierul Aiman), a young rock singer who was still struggling with his past.

Their relationship begins professionally, but as time is starting to grow more personally and deeper. Kerol unconsciously took a special place in the life of Alani and Iqi, bringing new warmth and hoping for small families.

Alani is now trapped in the past; That’s to give Farouq a second chance, protect his son, and receive unexpected bonds with kerrol.

This dilemma forced Alani to face old wounds and challenge public perceptions about different love and the right of women to live happily after being disappointed.

This drama not only highlights unplanned themes of romance and age differences, but is full of family values, hopes, and the power of women to rise.
