What is JustGo Malaysia?

JustGo Malaysia provides a complete platform for toll payments, where users register vehicle number plates and link debit/credit cards or e-wallets.

This differs from Touch ‘n Go, as no physical RFID tag is required. Just scan the number plate automatically. This app is still in beta stage and is available on the App Store and Google Play.

JustGo uses technology Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) which allows high-resolution cameras to automatically scan vehicle registration numbers to reduce tolls.

This system is designed as a preparation for briefing Multi Path Free Flow (MLFF)where vehicles can pass through toll plazas without having to stop or slow down at toll booths.

In addition to payment functions, this application acts as a one-stop center for users to manage e-Delivery digitally according to IRB standards, monitor toll transaction history, and enjoy loyalty rewards such as PLUSMiles reward points.

Users only need to register vehicle information and connect their preferred payment method such as credit card, debit card or e-wallet into the application.

Until January 2026, this system is currently in the pilot project stage at several selected toll plazas, including Village Forest – Sungai Dua on the North-South Highway.

The government is evaluating its effectiveness before it is implemented more widely in preparation for the system MLFF (Multi-Path Fast Flow) namely a toll system without a plaza and completely without bars.

That is the function of ANPR (Automated Number Plate Recognition), which is a system that scans your vehicle’s number plate and toll fees will be deducted automatically via the payment method registered in the JustGO Digital Application.

JustGo Malaysia offers several key advantages over other systems such as Touch ‘n Go or physical SmartTAG. Among others are:

• Live Notifications: Receive instant transaction notifications via smartphone every time you pass a toll road.

How to Register for JustGo Malaysia

STEP 1: Download the JustGo Malaysia App

To register, you need to download the JustGo Malaysia app at:

STEP 2: Register an Account

• Open the app and select “Register” or “List”.
• Enter the address e-mail valid and create a password.
• Confirm the email via the link sent to your inbox.
• Complete your personal profile such as your full name and telephone number.

STEP 3: Register Vehicle (Important)

Because this system uses a camera to scan license plates, you need to enter vehicle information accurately:

• Select the menu “Add Vehicle” or “Add Vehicle”.
• Entering Vehicle Registration Number (Continue: VBE 1234).
• Upload a photo of the vehicle grant or enter details such as model and make verification.

STEP 4: Set Payment Method

You need to ensure that the balance is always sufficient or that the account is connected to an active funding source:

• Choose “Payment Method”.
• Link it Credit Card, When Debitor Edom (such as Touch ‘n Go eWallet or GrabPay) that you want to use for automatic toll deductions.

STEP 5: Activation & Verification

You will receive a notification in the app when your vehicle’s status changes to “Active”.

Once all the information is filled in, the system will take some time (usually within 24 hours) to verify your license plate number in their database.

How to Use JustGo Malaysia

Here are the steps for using it:

1. Make Sure Registration is Complete: Make sure the vehicle information and payment method (credit/debit card/e-wallet) have been confirmed in the app until the status changes to “Active”.
2. Make Sure the Plate Number is Clear: Make sure your vehicle number plate is clean and unobstructed so the ANPR camera can scan it accurately.
3. Use Marked Paths: Direct your vehicle to the toll lane where these signs are located Just go or ANPR.
4. Passing the toll road as usual: You don’t need to stop to touch the card. The camera will automatically scan your license plate number, the bar will open, and you can continue driving.
5. Check Notifications: After passing the toll plaza, you will receive phone notifications which states the amount of payment that has been deducted from your account.
6. Download e-Invoice: If necessary, you can check your travel history in the app and download an electronic invoice for recording or claiming purposes.

Complete 50 ANPR transactions between Hutan Kampung and Sungai Dua in the period January 9–31, 2026 to receive a petrol e-voucher worth RM30.

How to Opt-In e-Invoices

JustGo Malaysia supports automated e-invoicing for tax claims through simple opt-in on the app. See how below:

1. Open the JustGo Malaysia app and log in to your account.
2. Open tabs e-Invoice or Profile/Settings in the main menu.​
3. Select an option Opt-in or Activate e-Invoicing. If your information is incomplete, you need to update it. Once finished, go back to the previous page and tap ‘Opt In’ again.
4. After activation, add your TNG/RFID Card details. Your monthly e-Invoice will be available no later than the 7th of the following month.

What is JustGo Malaysia?

Where can I use JustGo?

Pilots at 9-13 PLUS toll plazas such as Kampung-Sungai Dua Forest; choose JustGo route or any route.

What happens if the plate is not read?

The system charges the account; If there is an error, submit a complaint in the application with proof of plate and transaction.

Can I use a Touch ‘n Go card?

Yes, TnG eWallet can be connected as a payment method.

Do I need to install RFID or SmartTAG stickers?

No. JustGo uses ANPR technology (Automatic Number Plate Recognition). The system simply reads your vehicle’s license plate number through high-resolution cameras at the toll plaza.

What happens if my number plate is dirty or unclear?

ANPR cameras are very accurate, but if the license plate is too dirty, damaged, or does not meet JPJ specifications, the camera may fail to read your information. In this case, the bar may not open or you will need to use an alternative payment method.

What about toll fees? Are the prices different?

No. Toll rates are the same as usual. JustGo is only an alternative payment method, not a toll price conversion.

What if the balance on my payment method is insufficient?

If you link a debit/credit card, make sure the balance or credit limit is sufficient. If the transaction fails, you may receive a notification in the app to clear the outstanding payment before your next trip is allowed.

Can I get a receipt for tax “claim” purposes?

Yes, this is one of the main advantages of JustGo. This application produces e-Delivery automatically recognized by the IRB, simplifying corporate claims or personal tax record keeping.
