About OCBC Malaysia Public Scholarships
OCBC Malaysia Public Scholarship is a scholarship offered by OCBC Bank Malaysia to help potential students further their studies at Bachelor level through financial assistance and early exposure to the industry.
Apart from scholarships which aim to cover school fees and daily living expenses, OCBC Bank also offers students internship opportunities to gain direct work experience.
This scholarship is open to students who have been accepted or are eligible for entry into the first year of full-time undergraduate studies at all public and private universities recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

- This scholarship is valid for the minimum period required to complete the coursework towards a first degree. This depends on consistent and excellent academic performance.
- Applicants do not need to be accepted into a university at the time of application. However, applicants must present the university offer letter at the time of awarding the scholarship.
- OCBC Bank welcomes applicants who wish to or are currently pursuing a relevant study program or field of study that meets the Bank’s requirements to qualify for a scholarship.
- Applicants must meet the minimum GPA requirement of 3.30 each semester to continue the scholarship.
- Applicants are not allowed to change courses midway. They are required to pay back the Bank if they want to change courses during their study period.
- Applicants can participate in student exchange programs but must obtain approval. However, exchange program costs will not be covered as part of the scholarship.
- Applicants will get job opportunities at OCBC Bank after completing the course. However, if the Bank decides otherwise, then the candidate will be excluded from fulfilling this requirement.
