The 2026 Proton Saga MC3 looks smarter, more stylish and completely handcrafted by Malaysians, introducing the new tagline “Intelligence That Thrills.” Although the official launch date has not been announced, the media estimates that it will be launched on November 11, 2025. The model, known by the code name AMA01 (P214A), began to attract attention after being introduced at the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, marking the first global appearance of the most popular A-segment sedan in Malaysia.

The design is now more modern, elegant and mature, featuring batik patterns as a symbol of Malaysian identity in the official preview session.

2026 Proton Saga MC3 Variants and Prices

The 2026 Proton Saga MC3 will be offered in three main variants, namely:

• Standard (4-speed automatic)
• Executive (4-speed automatic)
• Premium (CVT2+)

While official pricing has not been announced, initial industry reports estimate a starting price of around RM40,000 to RM55,000, depending on the variant and specifications.

Proton plans to launch this model before the end of 2025, with official sales starting in early 2026.

The new Saga looks more stylish with full LED headlights with DRLs, LED rear light bars and a modern interior design. The “Songket Embroidery” patterned front grill and 15-inch two-tone rims provide a bold and elegant image that still maintains the PROTON identity.
