What is STL Division 1?

STL Division 1 is a second -class soccer professional league in Malaysia under the Takraw League soccer championship (STL).

This feature of 10 clubs that will compete every season to win two promotional slots to the Premier League STL, the National Takraw League.

The league was introduced in 2014 and has begun to use the promotion and removal system since the 2016 season.

STL Division 1 is an important platform for new clubs or those who want to return to the main stage, where the two best teams will be raised to STL Premier, while the two specified STL premier teams will be deployed to Division 1.

All Division 1 STL matches are carried out in accordance with the official Federal Federal Rules of the International Sepaktakraw (IstAF).

Format of the Organization

STL 1 2025 Division maintains a two -group format with each group consisting of five teams.

These teams fought in a round-robin match where the top two teams from each group qualified for semi-finals.

The winner of the final half will be Mara to the final and the two finalists will be raised to the next season’s Premier STL.

• Total teams: 10 clubs, divided into 2 groups
• System: Round-Robin (each team meets once in a group)
• Playoff: The top 2 teams each advance to semi -finals. Two finalists will be raised to the Premier League STL.
• Promotion & Elimination: 2 Division 1 Best Team will replace two Premier STL teams starring next season.

Schedule & location of resistance STL DIVISION 1 2025

• Date: May 28, 2025 – 1 June 2025
• Location: TUTUK CLOSED STADION, KUANTAN, PAHANG

For five days, 10 troops will fight in 20 resistance to win the championship and Naib championship, as well as worthy of the 2025 Stl Premier League.

The latest results

The latest Division 1 2025 results see Malacca Titans and Fighters Fire Appeared as the two best teams who qualified for the final, and ordered a place for the Premier League season STL 2025.

Melaka Titans, lined up by experienced players such as Syahir Rosdi, Azlan alias, and Zaim Razali, advanced to the final without many obstacles.

Meanwhile, Fighters Fire defeated Sabah Mountaineers in the semifinals with a decision of 15-11, 17-16 in the second set.

With this success, Melaka Titans and Fighters Fire will compete in the Premier League with elite teams such as Kuala Lumpur Thunder, Negeri Sembilan Antlers, Perak Bison, Selangor Piston, Tengganu Turtles, PDRM defenders, Johor Tigris, ATM Guidian, Pentang Panthers, and Kelantan Kelantan, Kelanan Pergris.

STL 2025 Premier League is scheduled to start June 17, 2025 to 24 August 2025 With the first Grand Prix (GP1) which took place at the Gong Rhinoceros Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.

This main season will include six grand prix series in several locations including Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Silver and Penang.

This tournament will feature 12 teams competing to get the title, with the top five teams qualify for the STL Champions Cup, while the two teams will be deployed to Division 1 the following season.
