2025 SEA Games schedule is the main reference for Indonesian sports fans to follow the big actions of the Malaysian Team in Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla.

With more than 50 sports being competed throughout the competition from 9 to 20 December 2025, supporters can now more easily follow the progress of Indonesian athletes through a complete schedule that displays match times, venue locations and a list of matches involving Malaysian athletes every day.

Introduction to the 2025 SEA Games

The 2025 SEA Games, or The 33rd Southeast Asian Games, officially known as SEAGAMES Thailand 2025, is an international biennial sporting event held under the auspices of the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF).

The 33rd edition is scheduled to take place from 9 to 20 December 2025, making it one of the biggest sporting events in the Southeast Asia region that year.

Host & Venue

Thailand was selected as the host of the 2025 SEA Games after SEAGF confirmed the host country, and on January 13 2023, joint nominations were carried out in three main areas, namely:

• Bangkok & metropolitan areas
• Chonburi
• Songkhla

has been chosen as the official location of the event. Apart from these three areas, several other cities in Thailand are also involved, especially as venues for football events.

The selection of the host city through an official bidding process is the first time in the history of the SEA Games. Thailand itself will be the host seventh timeafter the 1959, 1967, 1975, 1985, 1995 and 2007 editions.

Total Sports Competed

The 2025 SEA Games will feature:

• A total of 54 sporting events
  • 50 international sports
  • 3 demonstration sports
  • 1 value added sport

The location is divided into three main regions to ensure that each event takes place at the appropriate venue, complete with the best facilities. This strategy also helps reduce congestion for athletes, officials and spectators, as well as boosting sports tourism in each region.

Organizing Concept: Green SEA Games

This year’s event has a theme “Green SEA Games”which emphasizes:

• Use of clean energy
• Reducing plastic use
• Recycling initiative
• Encourage the use of public transport and electric vehicles

This concept aims to make the 2025 SEA Games a more sustainable and environmentally friendly sporting event.
