ILTIZAM Anak Selangor: Application Requirements & Eligibility

The Iltizam Anak Selangor Program is an initiative of the Selangor State Government which offers savings assistance of RM100 per year for 5 years to children born in Selangor starting in 2022. Visit the official Iltizam Anak Selangor portal at www.anas.yawas.com.my/ for review and registration.

The Selangor Children’s Iltizam Program targets 30,000 newborn children in Selangor State starting in 2022.

Each successful application will open an SSPN Prime Savings account and will receive savings worth RM100 per year for a period of 5 years which will be credited to the account starting from the year of birth.

Introduction to the Selangor Children’s Iltizam Program

The Selangor Children’s Iltizam Program is an aid scheme from the Selangor State Government introduced in the 2022 Selangor Budget to help the community through savings for children’s education.

This program provides a monetary contribution of RM100 per year for 5 years into an SSPN Prime Savings account in the name of a child born in Selangor starting in 2022.

The total contribution amount is RM500 for each child and savings can only be withdrawn when the child is 18 years old or above.

This program targets up to 30,000 children with the condition that the children and their parents/guardians are Malaysian citizens who are domiciled and registered as voters in Selangor.

Registration is done online on the official website anas.yawas.com.my and registration will close once the quota of 30,000 applicants is full.

This program is part of the Iltizam Selangor Penyayang initiative which supports the welfare of the Selangor community as a whole.

Eligibility Conditions

The following are the eligibility requirements for those of you who wish to apply:

CHILD CRITERIA

1. Children born in 2022
2. Malaysian citizen
3. Born in Selangor
4. Currently domiciled in Selangor

PARENT/GUARDIAN CRITERIA

1. Malaysian citizen
2. aged 18 years and over
3. Currently domiciled in Selangor
4. Registered voters in Selangor

How to Register for the Selangor Children’s Iltizam Program

1. Registration can be done online at www.anas.yawas.com.my.
2. Required supporting documents must be uploaded to the application system within 14 days from the date the online application is made.

Documents Required

Please attach the following documents to the application:

1. Photocopy of the child’s birth certificate
2. Copy Mykad mother/father/guardian
3. A copy of the valid voter list from the MYSPR system
4. Copy of adoption certificate (if relevant)
5. Statement Letter (for relationships other than mother/father/adopted child)

SSPN PRIME Account Opening

Opening an SSPN Prime Savings account or making a deposit into an existing account will be carried out after the Iltizam Anak Selangor application is approved.

Registered parents/guardians will automatically become permanent savers for their child’s SSPN Prime Savings account opened through this program.

For children who already have an SSPN Prime Savings account (with the same deposit conditions), the money will be credited to the account after the application is approved.

YAWAS will notify the recipient/depositor of the money after the money is credited to the child’s Save SSPN Prime via the email registered when the request was made.

Savings money contributed by the Selangor state government cannot be withdrawn until the child is 18 years old.

The total amount of money entered is commensurate RM 100 annually for a period of 5 years only.

Contribution of money to the account is subject to for births starting January 1, 2022 only.

Application Date

The registration period for ILTIZAM ANAK SELANGOR is open until this program reaches the quota of 30,000 applicants who meet the requirements for Iltizam Anak Selangor.

Currently, the ILTIZAM Anak Selangor application has been created CLOSED.

However, the registration date is still open will be updated later if there is an official announcement from the Selangor government following the recent presentation of the 2026 Selangor Budget.

NOTE: The application system is expected to open after the fourth quarter of 2026. This is part of the state government’s initiative to expand aid packages and financial schemes to the people of Selangor. Currently the application is closed because the 30,000 quota is full. Please check back from time to time.
