KPM School – Application Review 2026 & Appeal

Overview of the Open Application Results Starting August 5, 2025.

The following is more information about preschool registration, a review of decisions and appeal applications through the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM).

Functions of the school system

In line with the current development of technology, KPM has developed an eprasechool application system to make it easier for parents to register children who will be in online preschool.

Besides applying, there are some other important information available through the functionality of the e -chool system:

1. Application to KPM Preschool

• Application Form
• Check and update the application
• Appeal

2. Update User Information

• Make sure the email is packaged now based on the latest e -mail that is active

3. Find information of preschool institutions

• Look for preschool institutions registered with KPM

4. Check the registration status

• Review student registration status and appeal for the application

Application date for school session 2026

Applications to enter the Ministry of Malaysia’s Ministry of Education (KPM) in 2025/2026 online open from March 1, 2025 to 30 April 2025.

For manual applications, the application can be done directly at the requested school. Please bring with the original birth certificate when registering.

Feasibility for preschool applications KPM 2026

• Malaysian children only
• Children born in January 2, 2020 until January 15, 2022 Just qualify for the requirements to be applied.

KPM 2026 Preschool Application Method

Applications can be done through two methods specified as follows;

1) Online from March 1 to April 30, 2025 through the website

2) Manually from March 1 to May 31, 2025 by sending the application form to the requested school.

How to register for preschool online through KPM school

For registering schools, follow the following steps:

1. Visit the KPM School Website

Visit the website either through a computer or smartphone. (Link to the application portal is open from March 1, 2025)

2. List & Login

New users who use this system need to register first.

Only parents / guardians are allowed to register.

Make sure the registered email is an active email.

3. Complete the information

• Download manual and preschool application process for parents.
• Make sure the registered information is parental/guardian information
• Make sure the registered name is the correct full name and mykad to avoid problems during registration.
• Make sure the user remembers the password and does not reveal the password to others.
• Make sure the email address and telephone number are actively registered.

4. Update & Print

Complete applications need to be printed and sent to schools requested by relevant documents.

Use:

• Application update can be done as long as the application is waiting for confirmation (confirmation action has not been taken by the school).
• Incomplete applications need to be updated by parents/guardians.
• Parents/guardians need to print and send back the application form if they make information in the system.
• After the application is confirmed by the school, the applicant is only permitted to print the application form.
• If there is a change in information after the application is confirmed by the school, parents/guardians must tell the relevant school to update.

Review of Decisions and Applications for Acceptance of preschools at the Malaysian Ministry of Education, session 2025/2026

See the results of preschool applications can be made in 2 ways:

1. Online (online):
   Reviews can be done through websites
   start August 5, 2025
2. Manually through the school requested:
   Reviews can be done through the school requested starting August 5, 2025

For successful applications and offered places in the preschool requested, please print the offer letter.

Application appeal:

For unsuccessful applications, parents/guardians can appeal through the website from 05 to 20 August 2024.

Use:

Status refers to application status as well;

• Waiting for confirmation: Print application forms and copies of documents have not been submitted and received by preschool / application documents are being reviewed.
• Incomplete: Incomplete applications / documents, please refer to email and update relevant information / contact the school requested for more information.
• Confirmed: The application form has been received and a copy of the document has been confirmed by preschool to be processed and taken to the election meeting.
• Success: The application has been successful and offered a place in preschool. Please print the offer letter.
• Fail: This application is not successful and can appeal.

Appeal

For unsuccessful applications, parents/guardians can appeal through the website
start August 5 to August 20, 2025.

• For online applications, comparative applications can be made by parents/guardians through the E-Provision site
• For manual applications, the appeal application can be done by parents / guardians through schools / institutions requested during the initial application or through PPD / PPW / JPN.
