That is, the period of new scheme, feasibility, how to apply
Domestic and non-domestic customers of low voltage including micro business operators with smart meter installations can now subscribe to the time scheme (Tou).
What is the Skim Rates for the Time of Use or ‘Time of Use’ (Tou)?
Tou is a scheme that empowering users to control bills and electricity consumption to enjoy lower rates during rush hour.
The implementation was launched after the reform of the country’s tariff structure which also maintains protection to the B40 group.
The Tou scheme gives more users to manage daily electricity usage.
This allows users to enjoy different rates at different times a day.

For example, the current rate of rate is lower than rush hour.
So, consumers who use high energy in the peak period at 10 pm and 2 pm can choose to join the scheme to enjoy lower rates.
At the same time, the peak tariff is also extended until Saturday and Sunday. This is different from the previous structure that impose a uniform level every day.

The scheme at the same time gives users the opportunity to plan the use of electricity at a certain level.
In other words, consumers can now schedule high energy consumption activities such as washing, cooking, or small -scale business operations during rush hour to enjoy lower rates.
Customers are advised to monitor your monthly use patterns before registering with the Tou scheme.
This scheme is expanded to all users starting July 1, 2025.
