
MYKAD ONLINE APPLICATION – Prosuder & Payment
The Mykad Online application is now a more practical choice for those who want to change the damaged identity card without having to queue up the counter.
Besides being physically present to the National Registration Department (NRD), you can apply for an online replacement through the official NRD website.
With the convenience of this online mykad application, everything is faster and more efficient.
Application type
Only 4 types of replacement applications are permitted for this system:
- Replacement of physical damage cards
- Change of chip damage
- Normal replacement
- The first disappear replacement (negligence)
Online mykad application procedure
- VISIT THE MYKAD APPLICATION WEBSITS Damaged online through the following links:
- On the veranda, click the option “Please change your mykad” On the online side.
- Complete the application form with the required personal information such as identity card number, address and cause of card damage.
- If requested, upload related documents such as damaged card drawings or copies of police reports (if any).
- Choose the nearest JPN branch you want to visit to take MyKad after completion.
- Complete payment using a credit card with only the specified rate:
- When finished, save the receipt number and reference for the application status review.
- Reset the website to check whether the new Mykad is ready to be taken at the selected JPN office.
Documents that need to be provided
1. Applicant document (original)
- The identification card is damaged when the application is made on the table; or during the recruitment of new identity cards for applications via portal or telephone.
2. Support document
- For changes in address, the applicant must submit electricity bills / water bills / billing / utility bills / door tax / tax assessment / Income Tax Assessment Form / House Sales Agreement or Raya Receipt / Support Document / Support from the Head / Head of the Village / House / Assembly / Members / Members of Parliament / Entrepreneurs / Malaysian Army (ATM) or other similar documents. (Original copy or certified)
Charge
For the application for replacing mykad, citizens are subject to RM10.00, while non -citizens must pay RM40.00.
If the application is made within 12 months from the date of delaying the damaged card, the fee will not be charged free.
For online applications, payments can only be made using a credit card.
Keep in mind, payments will not be returned if the application has been processed by the identity card section.
After the payment is made, you can check the application status to find out whether Mykad is just ready and ready to be taken at the NRD office.
MYKAD JPN Online Replacement System Operating Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 am until 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: The system is closed
- General leave: The system is closed
Mykad collection period
The duration of the MyKAD collection for successful online application transactions varies depending on the choice of the collection center as follows:
- After 30 minutes at the JPN Headquarters of the Federal Putrajaya region, the state headquarters and all UTC branches.
- After 5 days of working hours on the Malaysian Peninsula NRD JPN
- After a period of 7 working days at the Sabah and Sarawak Branch NRD
