Introduction to BWF World Tour Finals 2025

BWF World Tour Finals 2025 is the most prestigious badminton season-ending tournament on the Badminton World Federation (BWF) calendar. This tournament brings together only the world’s best players and pairs based on their consistent performance throughout the BWF World Tour season.

The 2025 edition will take place in Hangzhou, with total prize money on offer of USD 3,000,000, making it one of the most profitable tournaments on the international badminton scene.

To qualify for the 2025 HSBC BWF World Tour Finals, only the 14 best BWF World Tour tournament results during the qualifying period will be taken into account to determine the HSBC Race to Finals Ranking.

Of the 14 best results, a maximum of only three results can be taken from the Class 2 – Level 6 (Super 100) tournament.

A total of eight (8) best people from each category, namely men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles, will be invited to compete. Each member country is limited to a maximum of two players or pairs per category. The current world champion automatically qualifies for this tournament regardless of ranking.
