The appeal period for reception to the UPTVET Institution Institution has been opened from June 23, 2025 to 16 July 2025.

UPTVET was introduced as a special system for applications to education and vocational education institutions (TVET), such as UPU for applications to public education institutions (iptas).

Starting April 14, 2025, all applications enter 1,334 TVET institutions throughout the country are needed through one channel, UPTVET.

The decision to implement this centralized system was made through the TVET Council Meeting (MTVET) No. 3/2023 to coordinate the application process and prevent overlapping.

What is TVET?

For readers who are asked, TVET is an abbreviation for education and technical and vocational training (technical and vocational education and training)

TVET is a process of education and training that has a great emphasis on industrial practice, which aims to produce competent workers in certain fields.

TVET goals were introduced to meet industry demand and contribute to economic growth, in line with globalization, knowledge -based economy, technological advances and global labor mobility.

In general, there are two routes to enter TVET through the Malaysian Education Certificate (SPM) or Form 3 (PT3) assessment.

SPM graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in certificates or diplomas in high -skilled TVET programs.

In addition, for students with academic and teenage tendencies that are lacking outside the education system there are also special programs for the Dual Training and Training System (SLDN).

2 TVET Course Application Categories – Perdana & Flexi

Applications can be done through two categories:

• Up_tvet prime (only a public TVET institution)
  • Offering TVET programs at the General Skills Training Institute (ILKA) including ILJTM (ILP/ADTEC/JMTI), ILKBS (IKBN/IKTBN), IKM, Giatmara and many other institutions.
  • The application is open twice every year for the January and July recruitment sessions
  • No need to buy a pin & how to apply easily.
  • The offer to enter the UPTVET Prime Institution has now been opened until 20 June 2025.
  • Applicants can check the status of the application on the official portal
  • The course offer notification will be sent via email starting 11 to 20 June 2025.
  • Candidates who receive the offer need to confirm the receipt of courses in the application portal from 13 to 23 June 2025.
  • If the candidate does not accept any offer until June 20, the application can be continued in the appeal phase June 23 to July 16, 2025subject to course vacancies

• Up_tvet Flexi (Lay TVET Institution & Private TVET Institution)
  • Offering more long -term & short -term courses that are more flexible in ordinary TVET institutions & private TVET institutions.
  • Suitable for individuals who want to improve their skills or change their careers.
  • Open application throughout the year.

Who can apply?

• Up_tvet Prime – Open to all, especially SPM 2024 and previous graduates.
• Up_tvet Flexi – Open to anyone who wants to get skills training or improve life skills.

UPTVET New User Registration

Applicants who first use this page must register a new account before they can continue the application for the desired TVET educational institution.

Here are a few steps to register a new user account:

1. VISIT UPTVET SITE:

3. Complete registration by filling in all the requested details and information
4. Click the ‘User List’ button at the bottom of the user registration page

Uptvet Application Take July 2025

Requests to the TVET institution selected will be opened starting April 14, 2025.

Follow 7 steps of the TVET course application on the Uptvet portal:

1. Log in>
2. Click the Complete Course List (for TVET Course Information Display)>
3. Click the TVET course application (to see the course display offered)>
4. Click the course option>
5. Click Select Courses>
6. Click Butan please>
7. Click send the application

• 17 Feb 2025 – Registration & Renewal of the Applicant’s Profile
• 14 Apr – June 15, 2025 – Application (Courses Without Interview)
• 14 Apr – May 30, 2025 – Application (Interview Course)
• 2 – 13 June 2025 – Interview (outside the system)
• 11 – 20 June 2025 – Institutional Offers for Candidates
• 13 – 22 June 2025 – Duration of Deals
• June 23 – Jul 16 2025 – Appeal

Appeals Uptvet Applications

Appeal can be submitted from June 23, 2025 so that July 16, 2025. The deadline for making an appeal application is ongoing July 16, 2025while the deadline for agreeing to accept the offer is at 18 July 2025.

Applicants are allowed to increase Five (5) More choices of courses that still have vacancies, which are courses whose capacity is not yet full.

Attention:

• Complete courses will not be displayed in the option list.
• Applicants do not need to send applications for the same course if requested beforehand.
• Candidates who have agreed to accept the offer before the appeal period not allowed To create an appeal application.
